DC and Warner Bros. Discovery are reaping the results of the James Gunn DCU reboot with the Flash's abysmal box office performance. On a weekend where the Flash has very little competition, the top film last weekend will likely end up 3rd place behind Elemental and Spider-Man: Across The Spiderverse, which is in its 4th weekend. Fans simply are not turning up for a decimated cinematic universe that is coming to a close, starring an actor that many feel never got just punishments for his crime spree.
