I was hesitant to purchase this crossbow at first, but after reading multiple reviews I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! The Snake Eye Tactical Cobra-System Self-Cocking-Pistol Crossbow is powerful, shooting up to 225 FPS.
I tested it from 20 feet away and it penetrated through a 1/2" privacy fence board. For the price, this crossbow is definitely a great value. While it might not be the top of the line, it is accurate and well-made.
Its perfect for an entry-level crossbow pistol. The only downside is that it can be a bit difficult to string. However, I found that flexing the bow over my thigh prior to assembly and stringing made the process much easier.
I was even able to string the second one by myself with this technique. Its important to note that this crossbow is not a toy. It should be used carefully and with attention to what is behind the target.
One thing that really impressed me was the vendors customer service. When I accidentally broke a piece of the crossbow, I contacted them and they promptly sent me a replacement part at no charge.
This went above and beyond my expectations. Overall, I highly recommend the Snake Eye Tactical Cobra-System Self-Cocking-Pistol Crossbow. Its powerful, accurate, and a great value for the price.
