An 8.3km (5.1 miles) midnight hike on Midsummer's Eve.

It started so well, then roughly 30 to 40 minutes later, the mist rolled in, which ruined any chances of having great views round the lake. It was still light enough to hike without a head lamp, but the mist completely changed the atmosphere of the place.
The only thing missing was Gollum floating past on a log.
