Ukraine sent infantry reserves to counterattack towards Zaporozhye especially in the settlement of Pyatykhatky. Arriving troops concentrated in the forest area were attacked by Russian artillery fire, and drones by dropping mortars. Ukraine suffered the loss of a wave of troops dispatched without vehicles, intended to reach Russian positions.
