Pride

pride lifts up ones heart and puffs up the head and leads a person to believe that they are greater than they truly are and that they are more important than others and deserved to be served rather than to serve.
James 4:6 Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 
Believing themselves to be wise, the proud will display their superiority and shows themselves to truly be fools.
