8bitdo M30 2.4 GHz Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Mini on MiSTer FPGA

The 8bitdo M30 2.4 GHz wireless controller comes with the controller and a USB dongle. In this video, I demonstrate the compatibility with the MiSTer FGPA. It is natively compatible with the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Mini and Mini 2, along with the Nintendo Switch. 8bitdo has been making quality parts for retro game consoles for some time. I've certainly covered them for Sega and Nintendo consoles. In this video, the focus is on a controller for the Sega Genesis Mini 2 and Nintendo Switch.

The 8bitdo M30 2.4 GHz controller comes with a paired dongle for simple setup. The lag is minimal and it works seamlessly with the devices it was designed for. I used a Sega Genesis Mini 2, but you can use the first generation Sega Genesis Mini or Mega Drive Mini equivalent.
