To the First Responder

Dying prematurely is a tragedy, no matter the reason. When a life is cut short not only the individual passes, but also ALL who would have been influenced by this precious someone are affected.

This song is two-fold. The ultimate first responder is the one God the Father sent to rescue us...Jesus Christ. But, there is another aspect to this offering, and that is to recognize those who sometimes sacrifice their lives on behalf of others. I've been keenly aware of their efforts lately. And my heartfelt thanks go to the "first responders" of Granite City, IL. Yes, thank you.
