Off-grid tiny cabin fireplace looks like something from the Hobbit update #39

This weekend we decided to add stone to the fireplace. The method is fairly simple, beginning with shoving a piece of plywood into the opening to create an arch, mixing mortar, and setting the stones. All in all, we are THRILLED with how this turned out! There's a little more to do with adding stone to give it all an even shape, but, we're closer than ever to seeing this finished. We added some used engine oil to a couple of the porch boards and we can't wait to go full with the application.
