Man kills best friend, allegedly

Arrested was 34-year-old John Robert Thigpen.

The shooting apparently ended an argument between the two men who were described by the media as "best friends."

Authorities determined Thigpen was not in immediate danger when he allegedly shot Brown.

It is a rare example of white-on-black homicide; an exception that proves the rule.
