Richard and Henrietta King Statue

The Friday, June 23 statue dedication was in honor of the City of Kingsville, Texas founders Captain Richard King and Henrietta King.

Kingsville’s origins came from the railroad service connecting Brownsville to St. Louis thanks to Captain Richard King and his wife Henrietta along with Robert Justus Kleberg who develop the town three miles east of the King Ranch in 1904.
