Here's a short vid showing why Asian females are the BEST Cosplayers on the planet. Notice the lack of fatties & "diversity hires" in this costumes? Yeah, Asians in the East actually treat cosplay as an ART & Presentation when they show up at Cons like Comiket.

This is not "everyone gets a trophy" or Halloween. They are literally there to be photographed and expand their reputations as influencers & cosplay queens.
