Keeping the Goal in View and Finding Ourselves Free of the Law

We continue to look at the Law and the word "forever." As we read scripture it is vitally important that we understand that we are not on every page, we are not in every plan, we do not have every promise. And we don't want every promise! As wonderful as the promise of the promised land may be, as attractive as a home in the New Jerusalem sounds, even as tingling as a return a Paradise may invigorate... it is far better to strive for the "unsearchable riches" of Ephesians (post Acts age) and the Prize of Philippians. And on that journey, we cannot let ourselves be bogged down by the religious practices connected to other hopes.
