Comic shop owner Rod Lamberti, the owner of Rodman Comics in Ankeny, Iowa recently did an op ed for Bleeding Cool where he explained how the sales of modern comics are going in his shop. We've known the industry titans like Marvel and DC have been hurting in sales for a while. Rod admits the only thing that really sales are back issues. As the legacy comic book industry dies, independents like Ethan Van Sciver and Eric July are proving their is still a big desire for comic books. What has gone wrong? Lets find out.
