Evel Knievel Bicycles Bring Joy to Lawrence Sorenson

AMF built Evel Knievel bikes at their Little Rock factory. The Sorenson family sold them at their hometown shop, mere steps from the facility. Continuously the retailer procured factory returns and production overruns. When AMF closed in the early Eighties, the Sorensons received several trailers full of factory stock, where the parts languished due to Knievel's fading stardom.

Now with a resurgence of interest in America's favorite daredevil, Mr. Sorenson is the go-to guy for Evel Knievel bike parts. He sells parts of his stash to grateful collectors, and assembles others into a fleet of brand new bicycles bearing the name the courageous motorcyclist. Lawrence is as brave as his childhood hero, and every bit the tenacious survivor.
