How to Run Your Appliances When the Power Goes Out! (Reupload)

You can run a LOT off a 1000 Watt inverter, assuming you have a charged battery of course.

In this video, I show you why you should keep your old batteries, assuming they can hold a charge. For a 12 volt battery you definitely want to see it above well, 12 volts! If you can get it around 12.5 or more, you have a source in which to run appliances.

However, you will need an inverter in order to change the voltage from 12 Volts DC to 120Volts AC. Higher the voltage the less the AMPs and thus your appliance can run just fine without frying the circuits.

Moral of the story is this battery is easy to haul around. My fridge is 5.3 Amps. With an inverter and this battery I could run the fridge for nearly 19 hours before the battery conked out without needing my car running.
