My Aerolase Journey Begins

AEROLASE LightPod is a pain free laser treatment for all skin types. It’s an easy and comfortable treatment. No down time, no skin cooling after treatment. My Aerolase Treatment is for my hyperpigmentation & uneven skin tone. Although Aerolase can be used for a variety of skin conditions and your treatment will be suited for you. My experience with Aerolase LightPod it doesn’t even touch the skin. I just felt a puff of warm air with the occasional snap. Which again is tolerable. It does give off a smell of burning hair. Believe me.. it’s not burning my hair at all. In fact it’s like a mild IPL dermaplane. I’m not complaining about that, please permanently erase my facial hair. After your first consultation; thereafter you can literally do a Aerolase Treatment on your lunch break.
HOW DOES THE VISIA SKIN ANALYSIS WORK? The VISIA scanned my skin, shot a photo while scanning my skin strengths and weaknesses. VISIA scans measures my skin pigmentation, pore size and porphyrins (evidence of bacteria lodged in pores). It also scans UV spots, sun damage, texture and wrinkles.
VISIA finds Brown Spots their lesions on the skin such as hyperpigmentation, freckles, lentigines and melasma. Melanin is produced by melanocytes in the bottom layer of the epidermis. Brown Spots produce an uneven appearance to the skin, and are detected by the VISIA.
I’m a Fitzpatrick 3/4 and I’m still at risk of developing; sun damage, skin aging from sun exposure, melanoma and other skin cancers. Regardless of our FSP we all need to take Cancer Risks and Sun Protection very serious. Always applying a broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily. Reapplying every two hours, more if swimming or sweating. Performing at-home skin exams once a month. Those who have a history of skin cancer. Should get skin checked atleast once a year by your medical provider.
I’m really excited to continue my Aerolase treatment. I have 5 more to go; scheduled every 4weeks. I will keep you updated as I continue my treatment. Aerolase Laser is doing its part; I need to do my part and be consistent with my skincare regimen; more importantly applying sunscreen.
