SOLAR PANEL TO POWER KAYAK CAMERA?? **HACK**

I had an interesting idea for powering my front yak cam the entire time that I'm out fishing...a small solar panel mounted to my kayak & plugged into camera. Will it work? Will it power my yak cam?
