Finance in a Nutshell

🌟 I had a conversation with an HR person from a top financial firm today and was inspired to share my knowledge with you all! In this video, I give an educational and inspiring overview of the financial industry.

📊 I start by discussing stock brokers, who charge commissions for trades and only serve to facilitate trades (in a way, scamming). Then, I dive into traders who are like stock brokers+ since they do not communicate with clients and make money based on technical analysis techniques. They are paid plentifully but require proficient math.

💼 Next, I talk about investment bankers, who act as financial advisors for companies, doing things like IPOs. They are kind of scammers too, but they play an important role in the financial industry. After that, I discuss portfolio managers, who bundle a bunch of stocks together as a portfolio and hope to make money for clients—they are paid well too.

📈 Lastly, I talk about the researchers/economists who are not paid as much, but they produce daily reports for other career people so they are able to do their jobs.
