Because we have no sanctuary in the world, the Human-We has no sacred place and very little sense of a sanctity for life. Hence, our relationship with food is warped and even in societies where food is plentiful there are eating related illnesses and disorders. We have more than physical hunger to satisfy with food. We are designed to have extreme and sublime experiences with food when all of our senses are stirred by beautiful and wonderful tasting foods. And because foods can have special meanings in tradition and culture, eating and cultivating food reaches into our spiritual lives.

To treat our body like a sanctuary and to have a sacred relationship with food is to take an approach in all our activity involving food that is thoughtful, considerate, reverent, profound and full of passion and appreciation.

In this vid I said the 250BOYCOTT supports the World Food Program. This was before I knew who they really are and their agenda for pushing GMO's. My apologies for my ignorance. The 250BOYCOTT DOES NOT support the WFP or Catholic Charities. I've seen the direct help from LDS fast offerings and those go directly to the immediate community. I've seen them help LDS, non-practicing LDS and non- LDS. I don't espouse their belifs, I do support their food and fast ofering program. All locally grown and canned. No GM food.
