Brittany in France has one of the densest concentrations of megalithic monuments in the world but hundreds if not thousands have been destroyed - approximately 45% of them are gone in parts of Brittany. Now we have lost 39 menhirs which were destroyed to make room for a Mr. Bricolage hardware store!
