Shortboarder on a 6'10" CI Mid

Trying out a CI Mid for the first time.

Not sure I'll have enough video to do a full review since this is a demo board but I do have it for one more day. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

First impressions, super easy to catch waves. The board is super flat and glides with little resistance. This is good for a high end intermediate and up. Might be challenging for beginners. Easy to stroke into waves if positioned correctly but because it is so flat, it could nose dive easily.

The design makes it so you have to surf it using the board and fins; not so much compressions and extensions like a shortboard. I really like the way it feels. Overall great board. Love to have one in my quiver.
