Audrey and Nathan investigate a series of mysterious deaths. The victims are all men who seem to die of old age, but the "old men" aren't quite what they seem to be, and neither is the stunningly beautiful woman linked to their deaths. The victims were all young men seduced by a woman named Helena, Helena drains the men of their youth and they die of old age a few days later. Helena turns out to be an alternate form and personality of Haven's plain-looking harbormaster, Beatrice, who allegedly can't control her alter ego. The twist in the story is that after Helena sleeps with the men on a Friday night, Beatrice becomes pregnant and gives birth two days later on Sunday, the day the men die. Apparently the new babies are draining life away due to proximity to their fathers, and Audrey somehow restores the youth of her friend Duke by sending his new daughter Jean to an adoptive family in Nebraska. Beatrice physically morphs into Helena only once on-camera in the show, at the very end... she's chained at the ankle and locked in a lighthouse on Friday nights, but she definitely hasn't gone away.
