Yes....six hundred steps is how many you'll have to climb down into the canyon to see Cherokee and Hemlock Falls. BUT, it is worth every step. To be down into this gorge and hike along Daniel Creek is definitely worth it. If you find yourself in Northern Georgia, you DEFINITELY need to put Cloudland Canyon State Park on your radar!
