Russian snipers on the training ground

The following statement accompanied this video on the Russian MOD Telegram channel:
"Becoming 'hunter'

The Central Military District's snipers are being trained for long-range shooting in the rear area of the special military operation

▫️ The exercise is conducted by experienced instructors, who explain to the servicemen the correctness of aiming, adjustment and various corrections in the smallest details. In practice, the snipers hit targets at ranges of up to one and a half kilometres. The instructors also show how to use the equipment, various types of sights and special weather stations.

▫️ The snipers are trained with various types of sniper weapons - from the SVD rifle to the most modern models: Orsis, Lobaev, Urbana and Vozmezdie rifles.

The training course lasts for four weeks, at the end of which the troops leave for the units to carry out special tasks."
