The Sun is 1,651.29 miles away at the equator. Polaris (the central north star) is 6,589 miles above. Not the IMPOSSOBLE millions, billions, trillions, quadrillions, etc. of miles away. The real universe is (as far as I can tell) 175K-200K miles in radius and not neccessarily spherical.
