Teachers' Strikes: 'Absolutely' talks ongoing to resolve pay dispute with teachers - Minister

Education minister Robert Halfon told Sky News that there are "absolutely" talks ongoing to resolve a pay dispute with teachers.

He made the comment as education staff walked out for the second day this week as industrial action rumbles on - for the eighth day this year

Mr Halfon said: "We need to do everything we can to resolve this strike, we have to be fair to teachers and fair to the taxpayer as well."
