I HATE the Hair Salon Confessions of Someone with ADHD VLOG RANT

I've always hated going to the hair salon and I suspect it has to do with my ADHD. I naturally have really tight or "kinky"curls and unfortunately instead of my parents embracing that they tried their best to straighten my hair so it could be "better". So as a child they shaved my hair believing in the urban myth that somehow that would make my hair less curly. They would also do relaxing treatments, keratin treatments etc.

Many hair stylists don't even know how to style curly hair and frankly them trying to detangle your hair hurts.

Now that I am an adult, I embrace my hair and try to stay away from harsh straightening treatments that contain formaldehyde. I like hair botox because it doesn't straighten my hair it just enhances my current hair.

A note to parents, make your child feel beautiful with whatever traits they were born with.
