Child Trafficking - The Truth Behind The Evil Part 2

This is Part #2 in our series. Child trafficking is a global problem that affects every country in the world, but it is especially prevalent in areas where there is conflict, instability, poverty or lack of education. Children who are refugees, migrants, orphans or living on the streets are more vulnerable to being preyed upon by traffickers who offer them false promises of a better life.

There are many organizations and individuals who are working to combat child trafficking and to protect and support the victims. One example is Tim Ballard, a former federal agent who founded Operation Underground Railroad, a nonprofit that conducts rescue missions to free children from traffickers. His story is depicted in a new movie called Sound of Freedom, starring Jim Caviezel, which opened in theaters on July 4th.The movie is produced by Angel Studios, a faith-based company that aims to create uplifting and inspiring content for audiences.
