Shannara author and creator Terry Brooks gave a panel at Awesome Con 2023 to talk about the series, his other works, and to answer fan questions.

Terry Brooks wrote The Sword of Shannara, The Elfstones of Shannara, The Wishsong of Shannara, and many more Shannara novels that are the basis for The Shannara Chronicles, which unfortunately only lasted one season. He also is the author of the Magic Kingdom of Landover series., Word and Void, and has written the novelizations for the films Hook and Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Other works include Child of Light, Daughter of Darkness, Street Freaks, Small Magic, and more.
