Now about Non-citizen Voting for City Council Elections. That concept is all about making sure that certain Progressive elected officials stay in office. The NYIC(New York Immigration Coalition) is the Defacto Voice for the Concept. They will be the org that will steer those Non-citizens on how to vote with the help of Envision Freedom Fund,Make The Road New York,Workers Justice Project, La Colemena, and Abolish Ice NY/NJ. Its mainly the Immigration Based Nonprofits that gets discretionary funding will be behind telling those folks on how to vote in Elections in NYC. Those organizations will be real dangerous than right now if that law comes into effect. NYC has a low voter turnout especially in city council elections & with that, those organizations can easily exploit the voting process by busing their members to the polls And have them vote for the candidates that they tell them to vote for. And that can be a big difference with getting someone into the NYC city council and getting someone they don't approve of out of the NYC city council. Electeds will be scared of those nonprofits especially if Those non-citizens are living in their districts. The NYIC will be threatening electeds with the voter bloc going against them if they don't do what they are told to do.
