Badgering gun owners 'an abject waste of money'

Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre spoke to an electric crowd in Nova Scotia on June 29th about his common sense approach to fixing Justin Trudeau's numerous costly failures for Canadians.

In this clip, Poilievre laid out his plan to deal with violent repeat offenders and the Liberals broken bail system.

He also promised to save 🇨🇦's $Billions in unnecessary spending, by leaving licensed hunters and sport shooters alone, who are among the most law-abiding citizens in the country.

"The guy or the gal with an RPAL, or a PAL, a license... is the least likely person to commit a gun crime. That's the reality. I don't know a lot of bank robbers, but I have a hard time imagining that on the way to robbing the bank, they stop to get their license. Right? To own the firearm. No, in fact, they don't have lawful firearms. 82% of gun crime is committed with guns that are illegally transported over the border..."
