Aircrew Flight Equipment specialists are responsible for maintenance and repair of all the equipment that flight crew use on a daily basis. They pack parachutes as well as the survival kits that crews might need in emergency scenarios. During a bomber task force they deploy with bombers to ensure aircrew have all the equipment they need. Bomber deployments and operations enhance the readiness and training necessary to respond to any contingency or challenge across the globe. Evaluating readiness and forward positioning bombers ensures the DoD can maintain operational and support capabilities to meet our security obligations.
