The 6KU Track Fixed Gear Bicycle exceeded all my expectations. Not only did I get it at an incredible price, but the bike itself looks amazing and is much lighter than I anticipated.
I couldnt be happier with my purchase. Assembly was a breeze, which was a pleasant surprise. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I had the bike ready to ride in no time.
What really stands out to me is how comfortable and responsive this bike is. Coming from a background of riding road bikes, I initially found the stock handlebars to be somewhat uncomfortable.
However, this is purely a matter of personal preference and there is nothing wrong with them. To remedy this, I decided to install the Fyxation Rodeo Pursuit style bars, which fit perfectly and made the bike even more enjoyable to ride.
One thing to note is that the bike does not come with mounting holes for a bottle cage. If having a bottle cage is important to you, you may need to tap your own holes or find an alternative solution.
In terms of value for money, this bike is exceptional. The 6061 Aluminum alloy frame is incredibly lightweight, making the bike a joy to maneuver. The factory components may not have well-known branding, but they are more than adequate.
Plus, you have the option to swap them out and upgrade as needed. Considering the quality of the frame and forks alone, I believe this bike is worth more than its $250 price tag.
If youre in the market for an aluminum fixed gear bike that wont break the bank, I highly recommend the 6KU Track Fixed Gear Bicycle. It truly offers the best bang for your buck.
I opted for the "open box" warehouse deal, and I must say it was well worth it. While the box arrived damaged, the bike itself was in great condition.
There were a few minor scratches, but they were easily remedied either by rubbing them out or using the sticker provided by the manufacturer. On top of all its other great features, this bike weighs in at barely 18lbs.
For the price, its a hard deal to beat. My son was ecstatic to see the bike waiting for him next to the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. It made for a memorable and exciting holiday surprise.
