Narasingha Stotram

The Narasingha Stotram is a beautiful Sanskrit verse dedicated to Narasingha, one of the most important avataras of Lord Narayana. It is a prayer for protection against all evil entities. This rendition was recorded at the Omaha temple of the International Sanatana Dharma Society on July 9th, 2023 and was sung by Savitri.

tava kara-kamala-vare nakham adbhuta-shringam
dalita-hiranyakshipu-tanu-bhringam
keshava dhrita-narahari-rupa jaya jagadisha hare

"O Lord of the universe, Lord Hari, who have assumed the form of Narasingha. All glories to You! Just as one can easily crush a mite between one's fingernails, so in the same way the demonic are defeated by Your beautiful lotus hands."
