I only used it a few times in the summer after purchasing it around Golden Week, but I realized how wonderful the front room is when I camped in the mountains of Kyushu last week.
Since the temperature drops significantly at night and in the morning, I used a small kerosene stove in the front room for warmth.
The tent became warm instantly, and I spent comfortable mornings and evenings, making me look forward to winter camping after November.
I was able to prepare food without being affected by the weather, and I had enough space for my cot in the sleeping room, making my camping experience enjoyable.
Setting up the tent is easy, and it can withstand rain and wind. Its lightweight and looks cool. In summary, I love everything about it, and Im impressed with Ogawa.
I have been using the Stacy 1 tent since it was released. As a solo camper, the entire tent, including the sleeping room, is more than enough, suitable for beginners and veterans alike.
However, it isnt suitable for winter camping. The Stacy ST-2 features a simple setup where you suspend the inner tent with fly sheet and use only three poles, and a beginner can set it up in approximately ten minutes.
The front room is spacious enough to place a table and chair to comfortably spend your time. The tent is spacious and has enough height for solo camping.
The whole tent is luxurious, specifically for staying in during winter camping. Its also compact, making it easy to store and load into a Honda Cross Cub, and it makes touring camping more enjoyable.
The only caveat is the tent poles may be affected by the wind, but I have not had an issue as long as I use the guy lines. Overall, I think it is an excellent tent.
I visited various stores and websites before settling on the Ogawa Tents Stacy. I ultimately selected the beige color instead of khaki as I thought it looked better.
In terms of usability and appearance, according to my own experience, the Ogawa Tents Stacy stands out among other brands. Although I am camping alone, I have more than enough room, and I am glad I purchased it.
