BEFORE he’d go from an anonymous Los Angeles-based student to one of Drake’s most trusted confidants and turn himself into the Forrest Gump of today’s social media era by somehow always finding himself in the midst of pop culture’s most happening scenes -- DJ Zack Bia was born Zachary Philippe Bialobos on June 9th, 1996 in New York City. As a youngster in the Big Apple, Zack was lucky enough to have a solid New York foundation by attending class at Public School 29 in Brooklyn, followed by time spent at the bilingual institution known as Lycee Francais New York. His mom, Laura, and his dad, Philippe, were both artists at heart -- his father being a photographer, while his mother is a writer. In fact, Laura would prove to be Zack’s source of creativity throughout his life as she pushed him to discover music and explore his own personal sense of style while raising him primarily on her own. Zack’s parents split when he was nine and while there’s been a lot of speculation online regarding his father with many people confusing him for a distant cousin who works at Dior -- the truth is that Zack hasn’t spoken to his dad at all since he deserted the family. Zack doesn’t even know where his father lives.
