Determined dogs refuse to allow car to drive off

Looks like this vehicle won't be getting very far with those two dogs around. Watch as the two stray dogs try their best to slow it down!

This footage was filmed on one of the busier boulevards in Skopje, Macedonia, where this kind of dog behavior is a common occurrence.

There are several reasons why dogs lunge and bark at approaching vehicles. Being able to differentiate between the owner’s car and someone else’s, dogs show their territorial and protective nature this way. If your pet dog presents with this behavior, make sure to show them that you are the pack leader and that it is your job to protect the pack.
