NATO leaders gathered on the second day of the Vilnius Summit

Leaders of NATO member states came together on the second day of the summit meeting in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
Turkey is represented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the North Atlantic Council Meeting at the level of heads of state and government.
In addition to the leaders of 31 member countries, Sweden, as a country invited to NATO membership, is also attending the meeting. NATO's Indo-Pacific partners Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the European Union (EU) are also represented at the meeting.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO is a regional alliance in Europe and the Atlantic, but the challenges it faces are global.
Stoltenberg said that what happens in the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific regions are important for each other, the war in Ukraine has global repercussions, terrorism and cyber threats know no borders, and authoritarian regimes are getting closer.
"We must stand together for a rules-based global order," Stoltenberg said, adding that this is why the participation of partners in today's NATO Summit is important.
