From Dissolution to Rebirth - July 12, 2023 - Ave Maria! HOMILY

Deacon Friar Charles Anthony M. Robinson, F.I., gives his first published video in New Bedford, on the memorial of Franciscan Martyrs John Jones and John Wall. Drawing on the Scriptures of the Mass and relating them to the historic persecution of the Church in England after the revolt of Henry VIII, Deacon Charles reflects on the universal cycle of growth, dissolution, finding a new unity, and rebirth which is observed in many aspects of life. Deacon Charles points to the essential nature of the Church to discover the roots of rebirth need to overcome the present phase of dissolution.

Back in the United States for the summer, Deacon Charles will be ordained a priest in August, before returning to continue studies in Rome.
