Don't Receive Prophecy from Just Anyone

“For Satan himself transfigures himself into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14
An example of the devil coming as an angel of light is when the devil speaks something “spiritual” sounding through another person or in your mind, and you think that it is God speaking. An example: when it is not yet God’s timing for one to start their own ministry, but the angel of light speaks “go start now” (bypassing the necessary refining and process to handle the calling, being planted and receiving impartation and elevation in God’s timing).

Do not receive prophecy from just anyone. Sometimes the devil knows what one wants to hear and can speak a “prophecy” through another person to derail the person from God’s will.
