Religion Gets in the Way of the Work of God

There are religious doctrines that have seeped into the body of Christ by in large that hold believers back from seeing the fullness of God’s Kingdom come. The more we walk in the true revelation of how God’s Kingdom operates and what walking in authority looks like, the more we will defeat the devil’s kingdom and see God’s will be done. An example of this is: when one misses the revelation of the true power and authority we have in Christ and instead let’s demons lie to them when they try to intimidate. And then a person may do “religious” things to try to make the demon go because they think their authority is not enough. ‘Religious things’ meaning traditions passed down that didn’t really come from God but were man made traditions. For example: thinking “if I shout louder, then the demon will obey.” Thinking “if multiple people shout at the demons and lay hands then maybe it will leave.” Thinking “if I use physical force like put my hands and press down then maybe it will leave.” Thinking “if I say all these words/phrases then maybe it will leave.”

Demons hide in the blind spots of religion. They hide where one’s spiritual eyes aren’t open to understand the principles of the spiritual realm.
