We were all fooled but only as a result of an inner need to be.
How else could we survive in an experience of lies that has been, and unless we change will be again, our only educator and convincer?
Evil is real, not just in rage and wickedness but as a core belief and way of life for those 'not of us', the narcissists, psychopaths and wannbe demons.
They DO AS THOU WILT as they know it is an eternity loop, but when YOU see it and understand it, you do not have to partake of it and are more able to evolve your spells into that of pure light.

The darkness fears the light, but too much can envelop it and trap it.
Release yourself from Influence. Be brave and see you, see what veils this realm has convinced you of YOU.
Break cycles, master emotions and nurture love.
But DO IT FOR YOU.
