Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream used Independence Day, the 4th of July to try and speak about stolen native land and how Mount Rushmore should be returned to the tribes. Well it turns out Vermont's Don Stevens, Chief of the Nulhegan Band of The Coosuk Abenaki Nation – a recognized tribe in Vermont, has told them to put their money where their mouth is and give back the land their factory currently resides on to his tribe which occupied it long before Ben & Jerry's.
