Early mornings, birthdays, death, & new life. A little bit of everything in this one.

We have another marathon weekend, which seems to be the norm for us. We start out early on Saturday scrambling to get chores done before departing for middle TN. Then, we celebrate a birthday with the equines and our family in that part of the state. We finally make it back home to find a new calf has been born, but another of the newest calves has died.
