In July 2023 we finally got enough subscribers to where I thought I could make a few bucks on the channel to help with costs by joining YouTube's Partner's program. Unfortunately YouTube says they will not monetize the channel since the content is not uniquely mine or that I have not significantly changed the content enough. Never the less I will continue to upload shows from my collection regardless if I never earn a penny! I bought a lot of equipment and programs when I decided to upload the shows to YouTube, including subscribing to a couple of OTR resource sites that cost money monthly where I search for better quality copies of shows to replace bad sounding shows for uploading or for shows/episodes I don't have if I can't find them for free. While it may not look like it, some days I spend 6-8 hours working on converting and uploading show. I try not to upload anything that is garbage and sometimes trying to fix the quality of an episode can take hours.
