If The Economy Is Getting Better, Why Is Everything So Damn Expensive?

The Biden Administration is crowing about the drop in inflation. Don't get me wrong, the CPI report wasn't bad...but it was far from great. But ask the White House, and they will tell you that "Bidenomics" is working, that President Biden is a genius, that the American economy is roaring.

If that's true, then why is everything so damn expensive? Food, housing, air travel....all crazy high. The auto industry still suffers. Major companies are still conducting layoffs. Does this feel like an economy on the rise?
