Ben Emly-Jones presents a talk on the famous trance medium, Helen Duncan, who produced fully materialized spirits in the seance room. It was due to her success at this, that the War Ministry of Great Britain during World War 2, got to hear about her bringing through dead sailors who had sunk on British ships, which had been kept secret from the British Public. She had to be put away at all costs, as she was now a threat to the secret plans of the D Day Landings of Europe. A plan was hatched in secret to expose her as a fraud in the Kangaroo court at the Old Baily in London, so that she could be put away for the remainder of the War years. But was she a fraud, or was she a genuine medium? Ben goes into the background of who Helen really was, and explains that the so-called photos of her, being exposed as a fraud, are nothing of the sort.
