FTC VS Microsoft: FTC Loses Again

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has denied the FTC their appeal, which now means that Activision Blizzard/Microsoft can now merge. The companies have until July 18th to settle the terms of the merger. Up next for Microsoft/Activision Blizzard is the case in the UK with the Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA). The CMA blocked the deal back in April and Microsoft/Activision Blizzard is to file their appeal there. The case will start July 28 pending an extension request.
