Dear Pastor Bob: What does the Bible say about tithing 10% to Christian charities such as feeding hungry children, Salvation Army, Homeless Ministries, Operation Christmas, etc.? Some pastors in the Christian Church say that our offerings can go those things, but that our tithe should go to a local Church for it to count as a Biblical tithe. They argue that we need to tithe to a local Church because of building expenses and maintenance. They teach that God blesses those who tithe in this way. They say its Kingdom Business. Do you have any thoughts on these arguments?
