Book Review: American Nations

Review of American Nations by Colin Woodard. This book is predicated on the idea that rather than being the United States of America, we are a loose conglomeration of independent nations held together by tradition and the Constitution. Not a bad premise, and I think I even buy the logic, but the final execution left something to be desired.
